Second Saturday Artist Showcase: MaryBeth Timothy
Cherokee artist MaryBeth Timothy will demonstrate her beautiful mastery of painting at the Cherokee National History Museum. Timothy uses a variety of art mediums including pen and ink, graphite and acrylics to create intricate and vivid sceneries. You may recognize MaryBeth Timothy’s work titled “Origins” which is prominently displayed at the second floor of the Cherokee National History Museum and depicts the beginnings of the Cherokee origin story.
This event is part of the museum’s “Second Saturday Artist Showcase,” a monthly series featuring Cherokee artists and their unique art forms. Admission is free and the artist will have works available for purchase.
